ISeeCars analyzed data on approximately 13.5 million cars produced between 1981 and 2017 to find out which cars are worthy of the title of “most reliable in the world”. And she published a list of the ten best cars, whose mileage was over 320 thousand kilometers.
It turned out that if you are looking for a reliable and durable car, then it is best to turn your attention to SUVs - as on the most anticipated new items, as well as for long-standing models on the market.
- The Toyota Sequoia is the most durable vehicle in the off-road group. Experts found that 6.6% of cars of this brand have a mileage of over 320 thousand km.
- The full-size SUVs Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Suburban were also among the top three endurance cars of 2018. Among Fords, 5.4 percent of cars were able to drive 320 thousand km, while 5.2 percent of cars in Chevrolet models.
- The fourth and fifth lines of the list are occupied by Toyota 4Runner (4.2%) and GMC Yukon XL with 3.9% of cars that covered 320 thousand km.
- The rest of the list includes the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Avalon, and Honda Odyssey.

ISeeCars experts noted that most of the models included in the top 10 most durable cars are frame all-wheel drive SUVs. Therefore, they are distinguished by a long service life and a large carrying capacity, similar to trucks.
“These vehicles are also easier to repair than small SUVs, which could contribute to their durability,” said iSeeCars.com CEO Phong Li.
