Most Drinking Regions of Russia 2015. Sobriety Rating

Alcoholism is one of the most pressing problems in Russia. Many people like to "have a drink" from time to time if there is a reason. But, according to narcologists, about 3 million Russians do not just occasionally drink, but drink to get drunk. Moreover, the real number of alcoholics can be much higher, since not every victim of alcoholism turns to a narcologist.

The federal project "Sober Russia" and the CEC "Rating" revealed the most drinking regions of Russia... The list is based on the following indicators: sales of beer and vodka, the number of deaths from alcohol poisoning, the number of people suffering from alcoholism and alcoholic psychosis, crimes committed by drunken persons, the strength of anti-alcohol legislation in the regions of the country.

The subjects' sobriety rating is presented in a table. At first they go the most sober regions, then the most problematic ones. The lower the points, the more “sober” the region.
