Matilda (2017)The historical drama "Matilda" promises to become a sensation of the national cinema in 2017.

Around this film about the love of the last Russian emperor Nicholas II and the ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya, a fair amount of hype has already risen. On the initiative of United Russia deputy Natalya Poklonskaya, Matilda was checked by philologists, lawyers, cultural experts and psychologists, and the results of the examination were sent straight to the Prosecutor General's Office. According to experts, the film by Alexei Uchitel showed a negative image of Nicholas II, which only strengthens the connection with the ugly, “like a mouse or a rat” ballerina. However, after a series of checks, the Prosecutor General's Office did not find anything in Matilda that could offend the feelings of believers (recall that Nicholas II is canonized). The film will be released on October 25, and thanks to anti-advertising, many viewers who had not previously planned to go to the cinema will definitely watch Matilda.
