Ranking of countries by life expectancy

Ranking of countries in the world in terms of life expectancy according to the CIA for 2017. Statistical data based on the results of 2016 are taken as a basis. The rating determines what is the average number of years that a group of people born in the same year live or can live, provided that the mortality rate for each age remains constant in the future.

CIA (CIA) Life expectancy is not only a demographic indicator that determines the death rate in a particular country. In fact, this term is very multi-stage in its structure, because its changes are influenced by such factors as: mortality, fertility, social policy of the state, the level of economic development of the country, retirement age and many others. The complexity of the "structure" of this indicator determines the complexity of its establishment. Why is this necessary? First of all, the rating shows in which country standard of living is at a higher level.

Average life expectancy in Russia is 70.8 years, men - 65 years, women - 76.8 years.

The average life expectancy in the world is 72.52 years.

Today, life expectancy in the world as a whole is much lower than one would like. In this regard, all scientific centers for the most part are engaged in the development of a "panacea" for human aging. There are many views on the outcome of all these developments: some say that this is the first step on the path to immortality, others that all this is nonsense and nothing useful will come of it. The most reasonable thing that each of us can do is to change our thinking towards a healthy lifestyle, and not to bet on science.
