Football is a very dynamic sport, both in terms of the style of play and the change of leaders and outsiders. For some, the changes in the rating of national football teams according to FIFA add positive emotions and make them feel proud of their country. And they allow someone to vent their anger or figure out who is better to bet on in one of the reliable bookmakers.

As of June 2018 the strongest soccer team in the world is the German national team... She took first place with 1544 points. Together with longtime rival Brazil, Germany ranks among the top soccer teams in the World Cup, competing in the World Cups between 1930 and 2014. The Brazilian team bears the proud title of the most awarded national football team. She became the world champion five times and, perhaps, this year she will do it for the sixth time.

And since 2014, German footballers have retained the title of prize-winners of four world championships in a row (they took silver in 2002, bronze in 2006 and 2010, and gold medal in 2014). However, the FIFA rating does not take into account past awards, it shows the success of the national teams "here and now."

Tunisia, the most successful African team, climbed nine places to 14, dropping CONCACAF leader Mexico to 15th. The Iranian national team has overtaken all other teams from Asia and is on the list at number 36.

To the chagrin of Russian football fans, the rating of the Russian national football team in the world is low. At the beginning of June the Russian national team occupies only 66th line, 36 points behind Ukraine and ahead of Belarus by 13 points. We can only hope that at the end of the FIFA World Cup the rating of the national football teams in 2018 will change at least a little in our favor.

There is a possibility that the formula for the rating of football teams will be revised. This issue will be considered on June 13, during a meeting of the FIFA Council in Moscow. The current formula, according to FIFA members, does not reflect the true strength of football teams. In addition, the council will select the host country for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The final matches of the 2018 World Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities of Russia.
