But now, when the production of products is focused on obtaining maximum profitability and manufacturers are saving on raw materials, unpalatable and even unhealthy products have flooded the Russian market. And in the same sausage there may be something more terrible than toilet paper.

5. Sweets and baked goods
Sad news for those with a sweet tooth: chocolate (which is a mixture of cocoa butter, cocoa liquor, sugar and dairy ingredients) is often substituted with cocoa instead. Bread did not escape this fate, the butter in it is replaced with margarine. And during the latest inspections of Rospotrebnadzor, 750 products were found, the manufacturer's address on which turned out to be fictitious.
4. Fish
The Roskontrol experts were dissatisfied with the frozen product. According to the standards, the water in frozen fish should be a maximum of 5%. In reality - 4 times more. Some sellers do not hesitate to pass off less expensive fish for more expensive. For example, pollock for cod (why be ashamed, because both fish belong to the cod family), and cod for trout. As the executive director of the Society for the Protection of Consumer Rights (OZPP) Sergey Raksha explained, it will be difficult for a buyer to distinguish salmon or trout from white fish if the latter is painted red and lightly salted.
3. Sausage
More than 50% of the sausage products tested by Roskontrol did not comply with GOST. Also, manufacturers hide what the sausage is made of, apparently, the composition will be too unappetizing.
2. Dairy products
Cheese, cottage cheese and butter were in second place in the ranking of counterfeit products. Over 60% is a surrogate. Instead of animal fats, manufacturers put vegetable fats, for example, palm oil. Not only does the taste of food suffer, but palm oil is also bad for health. It contains 50% saturated fatty acids, which help to increase the level of "bad" cholesterol in the blood.
A number of samples studied by Roskontrol did not contain milk fat at all. Under the guise of cheese or butter, something is offered that cannot even be called a cheese product. And what you can call it - not for print.
1. Water
Leading the rating of counterfeit liquid, without which "neither there nor syudy." Water for coolers has shown itself worst of all. 90% of the samples failed testing, they contained chemicals and bacteria.
If you find suspicious products in a store, it is best to report it to Rospotrebnadzor. Complaints give rise to an inspection of the establishment, and if a fake is found, the violator (and this is both the seller and the manufacturer) will pay 500 thousand rubles. Perhaps the ruble punishment will force retail outlets to better monitor the proper quality of goods.
