From the end of October to November 6, the online sociological service Center for the Study of Mass Electronic Consciousness (TsIMES) conducted a survey of VKontakte users about which consumer brands they trust most. The respondents listed mobile operators, financial institutions and insurers who have earned the most trust for their work.
Rating of trust in mobile operators
This is how it looks rating of the most trusted mobile operators in 2016. In addition to residents of other countries, 45 thousand Russians took part in the survey.
The winner of the current top-8 is the same as last year, which is very flattering for MTS. Outside VKontakte, the reviews about this operator are very different, from praises to completely negative ones. They are praised for fast Internet, good connection quality, cheap rates and the ubiquity of towers and offices, and criticized for imposing paid services, expensive roaming and not always competent and responsive staff.
The results of the other three leaders of the mobile market: the operator Tele2 improved its positions, albeit by tenths of a percent (17.7% compared to 17.3% in 2015), but the confidence of users in the operators Megafon and Beeline decreased , due to which "Megafon" moved to the third position.
If we take the distribution of the popularity of mobile operators by region, the situation is as follows. In the Chelyabinsk Region, Tele2 earned the greatest trust, in the Sverdlovsk Region - Motiv, which gained only 1% in the overall result. The activity of the Tele2 company, which is persistently trying to turn the Big Three into a Big Four, is only beneficial to its subscribers. But in Moscow, it was not possible to move MTS from the pedestal of trust, it has 28.2% of the votes. Beeline is next (22.2%), on the third line is Megafon (15.6%). Tele2 won only 13.8% of the votes in the capital.
Bank trust rating
Places in the rating of confidence in banks in 2016 (based on a survey of 12,590 people living in Russia) were distributed as follows.
Sberbank in the foreseeable future is unlikely to yield to its competitors the first line. He also heads Russian banks reliability rating according to the official data of the Central Bank. Confidence in him only grows from year to year. There are several explanations for this:
- the longest work in the banking services market of all Russian credit institutions;
- relatively low interest rates for mortgage and credit programs;
- many branches even in remote areas of the country;
- round-the-clock ATMs;
- availability of an accessible and understandable online service and a bonus program;
- convenient service with an electronic queue, minimizing queues.
In 2015, 57.5% of respondents trusted Sberbank, and this year already 60.7%. Moreover, residents of Chelyabinsk are most inclined towards Sberbank (73% of the votes), and the least trust in it is in the Novosibirsk region (53%).
For which Sberbank is often criticized in customer reviews:
- when problems arise, it takes a long time to solve them;
- employees do not always warn about all the intricacies of card service;
- low interest rate on deposits, especially those that require only a thousand rubles to open. The profitable bank deposits of 2016 can be found in our rating;
- frequent failures in ATMs.
The second and third numbers in the banking survey, as in the previous year, went to VTB (7.3%) and Alfa-Bank (4.5%).
The most unpopular among respondents was “Unicredit”, which is trusted by less than 1% of surveyed users of “VKontakte”.
Trust rating in insurance companies
Finally, the third item in the CIMES survey was the insurance companies with the highest level of trust. 17 463 Russians took part in this poll.
The opinion of the respondents remained unchanged over the year, and the leaders and outsiders of the rating did not change. But the confidence in insurers has declined. If in 2016 41.5% of respondents said they were at a loss to name a brand from the insurance sector that they would trust, then last year this figure was 40%.
The leader of the list was Rosgosstrakh. It is the largest organization in the rating of insurance companies OSAGO, by criteria such as assets, size, insurance reserves and premiums collected. Her strengths:
- presence in almost every Russian city;
- operates on the market in 1992;
- free delivery of the policy.
Negative reviews are associated with long queues and difficulties in the registration of OSAGO (to do this quickly and without problems, you have to additionally conclude a life insurance contract), small payments and long processing times.
The line below Rosgosstrakh is VTB-insurance, which is trusted by 6% of respondents. And RESO-Garantia entered the top 3 leaders with 5.8% of the votes.
Ingosstrakh (4.1%) and AlfaStrakhovanie (4.7%) have the lowest trust positions.
And 6% of respondents trust insurers that are not included in the CIMES list.
