The best cities in Russia for quality of life 2019

If somewhere to live badly, as in most drinking cities in Russia, so there are places where it is good to live. You just need to find them, which is what the experts of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation did. They studied the state of affairs in 78 Russian cities, in which more than 250 thousand citizens live. In each city, at least 600 people were interviewed.

When compiling a rating of the best Russian cities in terms of quality of life in 2019, the experts took into account:

1. how active the city authorities are;
2. what is the condition of housing and communal services and housing stock;
3. whether the services responsible for the condition of city roads and the safety of traffic on them work well;
4. how things are with the culture and education of the townspeople;
5. are residents satisfied with the quality of medical care;
6. how good, in general, is the state of affairs in the city.

10. Kemerovo

Although the overall assessment of the quality of life in Kemerovo is not very high (44th place), at least the work of local authorities and utilities is in order. But the situation on the roads (and with the services that look after them) and medicine are below average. This is sad, considering that not so long ago - in 2013 - it was Kemerovo that led the top 5 regions of Russia with the best roads, according to a poll conducted by Rosgosstrakh.

But even this result is better than in 2018, when Kemerovo took only 16th place in the rating of Russian cities in terms of living standards.

9. Ufa

The successful implementation of the Culture national project, a huge number of exhibitions and festivals held in the city, as well as a large number of universities allowed Ufa to rank 13th in such important criteria as culture and education.

The respondents almost did not complain about the quality of medical services. By the way, it is in Ufa, in the emergency hospital, that there are more than a hundred "smart" simulators, with the help of which doctors treat the consequences of a stroke. They have biofeedback with the patient and turn off on their own if the person has difficulty exercising.

8. Sevastopol

It's good to live in a city with good medicine. And according to the residents of Sevastopol, the situation with medical services in their city is the best possible. First place is no joke to you. And the local authorities are doing well, beating the authorities in Moscow and the northern capital according to the poll results.

The worst of all, the townspeople believe, are with the work of housing and communal services, the improvement of the city and the state of the housing stock. Perhaps the “Ukrainian heritage” is also to blame for this.

7. Irkutsk

In this city, most areas of life are in balance. There are neither frankly failures, nor those who would come out on top in the poll.

Is that the services involved in the repair and maintenance of roads, and medical care in Irkutsk are out of the ordinary, earning only 24th and 18th places, respectively.

6. St. Petersburg

Petersburgers, although they value the high level of cultural leisure and education in their city, nevertheless ceded the title of the cultural capital to Moscow this time. On the other hand, according to the general assessment of the quality of life, the Northern Capital was in 4th place, while the First See - only in tenth.

5.Moscow

Moscow is a frequent participant in all city ​​ratings Russia and the world. If Muscovites are offended that their city did not rank first in terms of quality of life, then perhaps it will be comforting that Moscow has surpassed St. Petersburg in terms of culture and education. So, at least, people surveyed by the Financial University think.

The residents of the capital are not too happy with the work of the local authorities, and they have many complaints about the state of the housing stock and the work of public utilities, judging by the results of the survey. On the other hand, everything is fine with the roads in Moscow and there are no serious problems with medical care for the population.

4. Krasnodar

In terms of such a parameter as “culture and education,” Krasnodar, according to residents, is second only to the Russian capital. This year, the city has just completed the national project "Culture", within the framework of which the authorities improved 318 parks and squares, overhauled 9 regional cultural institutions, modernized 7 cinemas and did many other things useful for the city.

And the townspeople appreciated such care, which affected the high position of Krasnodar in the list of the best cities in Russia in terms of quality of life.

3. Tyumen

Having lost its place of the leader in the rating of Russian cities in terms of quality of life in 2019, the oil capital of the Russian Federation is still in the top three. The townspeople appreciate the work of local authorities, the improvement of the city, the state of the housing stock and the work of housing and communal services.

And the locals do not complain about salaries either, Tyumen is consistently included in list of the richest cities in Russia.

But in the opinion of the respondents, the situation with medical care in Tyumen is unimportant. And this is despite the fact that the authorities report: the number of doctors in the city has increased, since 2011 their number in state organizations has increased by 38%.

2. Terrible

Residents of the capital of Chechnya are very satisfied with the work of the local authorities, housing and communal services, the improvement of the city and the state of the city's housing stock. The city is actively building multi-apartment residential buildings, in which residents of emergency houses receive apartments.

And one of the most expensive apartments in the North Caucasus is also located in Grozny. It costs 20 million rubles and is located in the Grozny-City skyscraper.

But the "main on the road", culture and education, and especially medicine, the townspeople gave low marks.

1. Kazan

The lion's share (87%) of Kazan residents surveyed believe that the city as a whole is convenient for life. They are also very satisfied with the work of housing and communal services (57% of satisfied respondents), as well as with the condition of their houses (68%).

Residents of Kazan do not complain about the condition of their roads, as well as the work of services designed to monitor their proper condition. And it is not surprising, because this year the city authorities allocated 7.2 billion rubles for the repair of roads, courtyards and sidewalks.
