However, by the age of 11, the girl's height reached 188 centimeters. All members of the Yao family are of medium height, and her tall height is caused by a pituitary tumor. Only after surgery, Yao Defen's growth finally stopped. Today she is 233 cm tall and weighs approximately 180 kilograms. To earn a living, Yao was forced to perform in a circus.
