Lipstick is one of the most popular gifts for March 8th, and almost a must-have item in a woman's cosmetic bag. This means that the quality of lipstick is important, because it should be not only persistent and pleasant-looking, but also safe.
However, "by eye" the quality of this or that lipstick cannot be determined. And then experts from Roskachestvo came to the rescue. On the eve of International Women's Day, they tested 20 samples of women's lipstick and selected five of the best. We present this selection of the best lipsticks for your attention.
5. Givenchy Le Rouge Deep Velvet
Price - 2405.5 rubles.

This matte lipstick is not cheap, either in price or in content. It is smooth, homogeneous and evenly colored, and contains such useful components as vitamin E (in a small amount) and an extract of South African acmella flowers, which smooths the lips.
We also note the beautiful body of this lipstick, made of velvet.
Researchers have not found potentially hazardous substances in it, it does not irritate lips and mucous membranes, and does not cause allergies when used. Le Rouge Deep Velvet firmly adheres to the lips (up to 12 hours or before meals, as one of the users put it in her review), does not spread beyond the contour, does not emphasize the small irregularities of the lips and has such a useful quality as frost resistance, which means it will not lose its qualities in the cold season.
4. NYX Mat Rouge a Levres

It's even surprising how such a budget option got into the rating of the best lipstick in 2020. But the fact is the fact: despite the low price, Mat Rouge a Levres is ideal in terms of organoleptic properties, sanitary and hygienic indicators and does not pose any microbiological hazard.
The lipstick contains vitamin E, but there is not too much of it and it will not have a significant effect on the lips, according to experts from Roskachestvo. The lipstick itself easily fits on the lips, does not form lumps and is of medium durability. Its coverage is quite dense, so you don't have to apply layer by layer in an attempt to achieve a brighter color.
The packaging of this product is not as beautiful as the fifth issue, Givenchy Le Rouge Deep Velvet, but it is strong and airtight.
3. MAC Matte Lipstick
How much it costs - 1550 rubles.
Where they are made - in Belgium.
Strong mid-range in price and one of the highest quality lipsticks on the Russian market. In organoleptic and microbiological properties, as well as in sanitary and hygienic safety, the "Belgian" has solid fives.
But with the composition, not everything is so good. According to an analysis on the Ecoholic website, MAC Matte Lipstick contains potentially harmful substances such as ozokerite, polyethylene terephthalate, phenyl trimethicone, isononyl isononanoate and acrylate copolymer. They can irritate the skin.
Otherwise, this lipstick is fine. It has a uniform consistency, it is easy to lay down and holds well during the day, it tolerates cold, does not roll into nasty lumps on the lips. However, it can dry out the lips slightly, like other matte lipsticks. The primer solves this problem.
2. Artdeco Perfect mat lipstick
You can buy it for 844 rubles.

High-quality raw materials were used for the manufacture of this matte lipstick, it is impeccable in terms of microbiological and sanitary-hygienic indicators, it fits gently on the lips and does not form lumps. The velvety texture, noble colors and subtle pleasant fragrance immediately set this lipstick apart from others.
However, this lip product (however, like most others) contains potentially harmful substances that the testers of Roskachestvo did not like.
If you look at the Ecologik website and test the composition of the Perfect mat lipstick, you will find such components as polyisobutene, dimethicone, propylene carbonate and several other substances that can clog pores and cause irritation on the skin.

The best lipstick of 2020 earned five-star ratings in all respects - from microbiological and sanitary-hygienic to organoleptic, safety and content of potentially harmful substances.
It has a creamy texture, does not spread over the lips, has good frost resistance and lies on gently, without emphasizing peeling. The fragrance is light and sweetish, it is not felt after application, and the color is rich and bright, in one touch.
Note that all three items included in the top 3 of the highest quality lipsticks according to Roskachestvo correspond to the leading standard of the Russian quality system. That is, they meet the requirements for goods that in the future will be able to claim the state Russian quality mark. However, due to their foreign origin, all three lipsticks will not be able to receive the RF Quality Mark.
The best lipstick for lips of a Russian manufacturer and brands of the worst lipsticks of 2020
None of the lipsticks of Russian origin could make it into the top five. The closest to the winners was Faberlic Matte lipstick first lady, who scored 3.68 points (8th place).
And this is an excellent result for a budget product that costs only 239 rubles. Lipsticks from more expensive brands - Chanel Rouge allure velvet extreme and Lancome Labsolu Rouge drama matte - turned out to be outsiders, which are beautiful only on the outside, and not too high-quality in composition (in particular, they contain a large amount of potentially harmful substances).
