Rospotrebnadzor has compiled a blacklist of large retail establishments, in which various violations were revealed during inspections conducted since 2013. Such stores have every chance of getting into the audit plan for the next year. This was announced by the head of the Moscow department of Rospotrebnadzor Elena Andreeva during an interview with the network edition m24.ru.
For the entire 2014, Rospotrebnadzor issued 4 million rubles in fines and suspended the activities of 118 objects in court. And this year, Moscow retail chains that violate consumer rights have paid fines for 293 million rubles and 120 facilities have suspended their activities. Such a sharp increase in fines is explained by the fact that Rospotrebnadzor can now come up with an inspection suddenly, without notifying entrepreneurs.
This is how it looks a dozen of violating retail chains, according to the department. The top 10 was compiled based on the results of inspections carried out in connection with applications from residents and public companies.
10. "Attacks"
This chain of stores belongs to the French group "Auchan". It offers consumers goods of the Auchan brand, products of private brands, as well as its own brand, Every Day.
9. "Magnolia"
The network includes 150 grocery stores "within walking distance", each store has its own meat shop, offering semi-finished meat products, cutlets and kupaty.
8. "Victoria"
As of December 2014, the Victoria grocery chain included 94 stores. Their advantages for buyers: availability of a discount card, wide assortment, fresh baked goods. There are also negative reviews about "Victoria" about: high prices, different prices (indicated in the booklet and on the price tag in the store), the presence of spoiled and expired products.
7. "Magnet"
Most of the stores of this company are in walking distance format. In 2015, Forbes magazine included the retailer Magnit in the top 100 most innovative companies in the world.
6. "Seventh Continent"
One of the largest participants in the retail market in Russia, with 156 stores in different regions of Russia. In 2011, "The Seventh Continent" was already in the field of view of Rospotrebnadzor, then the department checked 85 stores in 10 administrative districts of the capital. In all retail outlets, violations of legislation in the field of consumer protection and sanitary and epidemiological requirements were found.
5. "Bill"
Owned by the German REWE Zentrale. We are loved by customers for a huge assortment of goods, including confectionery products, household chemicals and beauty products, regular promotions. Negative consumer reviews are associated with the presence of rotten products, the discrepancy between the prices on the price tag and on the scales, the discrepancy between the indicated and real mass of products.
4. "Auchan"
The grocery hypermarket chain is periodically criticized for violating consumer rights. In August 2015, Rospotrebnadzor published the results of a study of samples of meat products taken from the Auchan stores in the Moscow and Tula regions. In some samples from the Moscow region, listeria was found and the content of E. coli was increased.
3. "Crossroads"
As of September 30, 2014, the Perekrestok retail chain included 389 supermarkets in 8 regions of the Russian Federation.In 2009, Vladimir Putin (then the prime minister) came to one of the chain's stores and, as a result of his visit, expressed the opinion that the mark-up on goods in Pyaterochka was too high.
2. "Dixie"
The second place in the top 10 violating retailers went to Dixy. She was the first in Russia to receive the right to exclusively sell products of a number of international brands, such as Unilever, Schwarzkopf, Wella, Henkel, etc. In 2012, she launched her own brand "D", and in 2014 the retail chain opened its 2000 store.
1. "Pyaterochka"
The Pyaterochka chain unites 5,400 stores throughout Russia and in 2010 was recognized as the # 1 brand by the results of the Annual People's Confidence Award. So in the anti-rating of retail chains in 2015, Pyaterochka took first place, although it is not prestigious to brag about it to consumers.
