Every year, thousands of unnecessary and ill-trained specialists enter the Russian labor market. To avoid such a situation after graduating from an institute or university, it is better to study the rating before entering the most popular Russian universities 2017-2018... We bring it to your attention.The rating compiled by the Social Navigator project (owned by the International News Agency “Russia Today”) is based on a number of important factors, such as:
- the need (on the part of employers) for specialists trained by this or that educational institution;
- the demand for a research product produced by the university, which is measured in the citation index of scientific publications of employees;
- monetization of an intellectual product (research and development) produced by the university.
The list of the most demanded universities in 2017 includes almost all institutions in which students are trained in the most important and additional programs of higher education. The exception is spiritual and military educational institutions, as well as universities in the sphere of culture.
This is what the top 20 best classical universities in Russia look like. They are the leaders in citing the works of employees - 11.9%.
As in 2016, the first line in the current rating is MSU is the best university in the country.
Here are the engineering universities that are considered the best of all Russian technical universities.
The list is headed by MEPhI, where the citation index of pedagogical staff reaches a record 27%.
Engineering universities have the highest rate of capitalization of an intellectual product. On average, it accounts for 15.6% of the university budget.
On the other hand, agricultural universities in Russia have the highest indicator of the share of graduates who got a job on distribution. It is 68%.
As in the list of demand for 2016, the first lines in the current selection "staked out" StSAU and KubSAU.
Russian medical universities are in second place in terms of the citation index for the work of employees (11.7%).
But humanitarian universities cannot boast of either a high citation index (8.6%) or a large share of funds in the budget from scientific research (7.7%).
And the selection of the most demanded universities and institutes in Russia in 2017 is completed by institutions from the field of management.
Graduates of such universities are the most unclaimed in the labor market. The hardest part will have to find a job in the specialty for graduates with "crusts" in economic, financial and legal profiles.
Natalya Tyurina, head of the Social Navigator project, believes that such a rating will be very interesting both for future applicants and for current employers looking for promising personnel. Many school graduates are guided by the demand for higher educational institutions, making a choice where to go to study.
Tyurina also noted that the comparison of the current and last year's rating results will not be entirely correct. This year there have been changes in the internal structure and optimization of universities. Because of this, some educational institutions that were in decent positions in 2016 disappeared from the list.
At the same time, the leaders in each list of universities remained the same, which, according to experts, testifies to the sustainability of higher education, if we take its characteristics as a basis.
