Gallup, the American Institute of Public Opinion, asked people in 148 countries if they had 5 positive or negative emotions in the previous day. Five negative experiences included: anger, anxiety, stress, sadness, and physical pain. The five positives included: feeling relaxed, feeling respected, enjoying, laughing, and doing something interesting.
Latin America dominates the list most emotional states in the world... On average, 6 out of 10 residents in each of these countries reported a positive or negative emotion experienced the day before the survey. The post-Soviet states are leading in the list of the least emotional countries. Only 5 out of 10 of their residents reported having experienced any of the feelings that interested the survey authors. Russia in the "unemotional" rating got 8th place. The first is in Bangladesh.

10. Costa Rica
In this small republic, 57% of respondents answered positively to the question about good or bad experiences. Not only funny and angry people live here, but also the most peaceful people, because there is no army in Costa Rica. The country (the only one in all of America) abandoned the armed forces back in 1948.
9. Colombia
Has the same percentage as Costa Rica, the percentage of people who answered positively to questions about experiencing positive and negative emotions. This country gave the world such passionate and fiery dances and music as salsa, porro, vallenato and cumbia.
8. Cambodia
Cambodia is one of the three countries whose names begin with "K" and the rating of the emotionality of residents is 57%. This country, which survived the Pol Pot regime, is now enjoying a peaceful life. It attracts tourists due to its many attractions, low prices, and also as one of the sex tourism spots. However, there are still many mines left over from the Khmer Rouge civil war in Cambodia.
7. Iraq
Political and religious instability, frequent terrorist attacks and devastation do not contribute to the peace of mind of local residents. Of the total number of respondents, 58% of Iraqis said they have recently experienced some kind of strong emotion.
6. Guatemala
The hot tropical climate and 33 volcanoes, of which 3 are still dangerous, do not contribute to the cold, Nordic character. Therefore, 58% of Guatemalans experience a variety of vivid emotions, which they conscientiously reported to the Gallup experts.
5. Nicaragua
The Republic of Nicaragua is located between Costa Rica in the south and Honduras in the north. The warm ocean is close by, the temperature is up to 32 degrees all year round. Many holidays give the population a reason to rejoice, and life here is almost pastoral. Most of the locals (58%) are as emotional as Iraqis and Guatemalans.
4. Philippines
A Philippine diplomat told Gallup why the majority of Filipinos (58%) are temperamental. He explained that the focus of Filipinos is on interpersonal relationships, which encourages not only to experience emotions more intensely, but also to be more open in expressing them.
3. Ecuador
The inhabitants of this state are calm, slow and proud.But all the calmness evaporates, it is worth going to the local market. There you will see the whole storm of emotions in the eternal battle of buyers and sellers called "buy cheap and sell high". Ardent Ecuadorians are ranked 3rd in the ranking of the most emotional countries (58%).
2. El Salvador
Four factors contribute to the manifestation of strong feelings (they are experienced by 59% of residents): hot Indian-Spanish blood, a very high population density, low incomes and a high crime rate.
1. Bolivia

The majority of the country's population (70% according to the IMF) are below the poverty line, many chew and drink tea from the leaves of the coca plant, which suppresses feelings of hunger and thirst, induces a burst of energy and improves mood.
