From Friday November 22 to Sunday December 1, 2019, Los Angeles will host an international auto show, to which manufacturers will bring over 1,000 cars. We will tell you about the ten most anticipated innovations of the Autosalon 2019, among which there are both completely new and significantly changed models.
10.Acura Type S Concept 2020
Separate division Honda used the letter S in the names of several of its models, including the CL, TL and RSX. In each case, "Type S" meant an increase in performance in terms of power, handling and braking. This will also be true for the model that will be shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Designed to capture the essence of 'Precision Crafted Performance', the S-type concept uses a wide strut, long bonnet and low roof for power delivery and agile dynamics.
When you look at the proportions of the car, you can see many details that work together to create a beautiful and sporty look. LED headlights with 4 lamps, Diamond Pentagram grille and large air intakes under the headlights give the feeling that the car is ready to take off at any moment.
And the silky body color, dubbed "Double Apex Blue", is attributed to the presence of nano-pigments and a color-tinted clearcoat that imparts a sense of movement, enhancing shine. To create the splitter, side skirts, spoilers and wheels, so-called forged carbon was used - the lightest carbon material at the moment.
Each wheel of the Acura Type S Concept features high-performance Brembo brake discs and four-piston calipers painted in Indy Yellow Pearl, creating an effective contrast to the gray wheels and blue body.
9. VW ID. Space vizzion teased
Although Volkswagen calls its creation "the crossover of tomorrow," it looks more like a traditional electric station wagon. Its sleek exterior promises efficient aerodynamics, and its new digital approach to intuitive usability will delight drivers looking for a smart car.
VW also points out that many of the materials used in the cabin are made from sustainable raw materials, including AppleSkin, a vegan alternative to leather.
A car can travel up to 500 km on one charge.
8. Toyota Mirai 2021
When Toyota unveiled its Mirai hydrogen hybrid vehicle, it was a promise that the future was with hydrogen fuel cells. The name Mirai itself means "future" in Japanese. That future is now more clearly defined in the 2021 Mirai, which looks better than ever before.
The biggest change in the completely redesigned car is obvious: it no longer looks like a Toyota Corolla beaten with a stick. The car has acquired a larger platform with rear wheel drive and front engine.
This gave it the long and low proportions of something like an Audi A7 or Mercedes CLS and allowed five people to sit in the cabin at once.
Toyota officials also said driving performance was key for the new Mirai, which will offer 20-inch wheels and tires, a significant upgrade from the 17-inch wheels in the first version.
The new model is targeted at annual global sales of 30,000 units, which is a very daring expectation given that Toyota has produced only 10,000 first-generation Mirai so far.
7. BMW M2 CS 2020
The 2020 BMW M2 CS features an aggressive look thanks to the use of carbon fiber composite elements on the front splitter, rear diffuser and rear spoiler.
And the use of carbon fiber on the hood and roof has made it possible to significantly lighten the weight of the car.
Under the hood of the BMW M2 CS is a three-liter S55 Twin Turbo engine with 444 horsepower and 406 Nm of torque. That's 39 horsepower more than the M2 Competition. The powerful powertrain is combined with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels.
This car accelerates to a hundred kilometers in 3.8 seconds, and its top speed is 280 km / h.
For all its speed, the 2020 BMW M2 CS will also be very comfortable to drive thanks to the standard Adaptive M suspension, sport-tuned steering and active electronic rear differential lock.
6.Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Rolls 2020
Volkswagen's newest SUV is smaller than the existing Atlas, but not much. VW engineers cut just 2.8 inches from the length of the 3-row model and reduced the headroom by 2.3 inches. The new Cross Sport now measures 195.5 inches (496.5 cm) in total length, 78.3 inches (199.3 cm) wide and 67.7 inches (171.9 cm) high.
In addition to a redesigned roofline, the new model also features a more curved tailgate and a redesigned radiator grille.
The model still has the same 117.3-inch wheelbase as the 3-row Atlas. This means the Cross Sport is still significantly larger than the Volkswagen Tiguan (the next rung in the lineup).
Standard equipment on all Atlas Cross Sport models includes collision warning with automatic emergency braking (VW's Front Assist), blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.
Top-of-the-line equipment includes adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, active lane keep assist and road sign recognition.
There will be a choice of either 2.0-liter and four-cylinder or 3.6-liter six-cylinder engines (235 and 276 hp respectively).
5. Toyota RAV4 Plug-in 2021
For now, Toyota has just released a teaser for the RAV4 Plug-in, announcing it will be "the most powerful RAV4 of all."
The Japanese also confirmed that the third-generation 2006-2012 RAV4 was included in the power comparison, which was available with an optional 269-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine.
More details will be revealed on November 20 when Toyota will show the vehicle for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
4. Volkswagen Golf VIII
One of the most anticipated new cars at the 2019 American Auto Show was changed not so much externally as internally.
Two large displays appeared in his salon (of course, touchscreens, in the latest fashion, and with ambient lighting). This is a multimedia system and a dashboard.
But what the new Golf has lost is an all-electric version, which has been replaced by the five-door hatchback Volkswagen ID.3. But there were versions with a 48-volt on-board network and rechargeable hybrids.
3. Electric Ford Mustang
In January 2017, Ford announced plans to market 13 new electric and hybrid vehicles, including Mustang, F-150 and Transit Connect versions. One of the announced vehicles is an all-electric crossover with a promised range of 300 miles (186 km).
What is known about the new Mustang for now is that it will be equipped with a Ford Mobile charger that can be used with 120 or 240 volt outlets. Well, it won't be long to wait for the premiere.
2.Land Rover Defender 2020
When someone says “Land Rover,” the Defender is the first thing that comes to mind for many motorists. This iconic model was launched by the Land Rover brand back in 1948 (although the Defender nameplate did not appear until 1990). And its image will change dramatically with the debut of the new 2020 Land Rover Defender, which underwent its first major redesign in history.
Land Rover promises that the new Defender will retain its legendary off-road prowess while maintaining its majestic and comfortable on-road driving style. In addition, the updated model seeks to maintain the continuity of the "square" design of its predecessor.
Two body types will be offered. The two-door Defender 90 accommodates five or six people, including the driver. And the longer four-door Defender 110 will accommodate up to 7 people, making it a great family car for out-of-town trips.
1. BMW M8 Gran Coupe 2020
The debut of the 2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe marks the completion of the M8 range, which already includes a 2-door coupe and a convertible.
It offers all the benefits that its M8 siblings have, starting with the 600bhp 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine. And, like them, it includes the premium Competition model, which is bumped up to 617 horses. The higher engine power is complemented by a louder M Sport exhaust system.
The M8 Gran Coupe V8 comes paired with 8-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. BMW claims this combination is good for a 3.1-second sprint from zero to 100 km / h.

The car should go on sale in the spring of 2020.
