Translated into numbers, the current S5 scores are 390 hours of battery life, 21 hours of talk time, 10 hours of high-definition video playback and just over 45 hours of listening to audiobooks or music. If we abstract and take Samsung's word for it, an amazing picture emerges, however, we must all understand: no matter what the manufacturer says, an Android smartphone will not last that long!
SGS5 in direct tests worked not 10 declared, but 12 hours in video viewing mode! Note that this is 12 hours of video viewing only, and nothing more. When was the last time you used any function of your smartphone non-stop? The abundance of gray when this mode is activated is not pleasing to the eye, but in a critical situation you can be patient! Verdict: With a 10% charge in this mode, the smartphone will quietly live without an outlet for another 4 hours.
But this is what: when you activate the extreme battery saving mode, which limits the use of applications only to the list of basic applications and programs selected by the user, disables mobile data transmission when the backlight of the main screen is turned off, and also disables all wireless communication capabilities, except GSM, at the same 10% charge the phone will work for another whole day!
In addition, the SGS5 has a ton of practical system features, a "parent" mode, as well as a ton of proprietary apps that are really convenient to use every day (S Health, for example).
