J.D. Power CSI analysts regularly conduct vehicle reliability surveys among buyers in order to find out if all car owners are happy with their purchases. Drivers with two years of car ownership are interviewed to determine the number of breakdowns, quality, convenience and maintenance costs. Based on these data, the car owner satisfaction index is calculated, according to which the cars are ranked. Although the survey was conducted among European car enthusiasts, it seems that the results will help determine the most reliable car for Russia.
10. Mazda CX-5
The rating of the most reliable cars of 2016 opens with a stylish, bright crossover with the latest technology stuffing (one record high compression ratio for a conventional serial gasoline engine, which is 14: 1). 9. Audi Q3
A premium crossover, comfortable, quiet and quite reliable - there are 90 breakdowns per 100 cars.
8.Hyundai ix35
The compact crossover, the third generation Hundai Tucson, is distinguished by both safety (the American Institute of Insurance and Highway Safety awarded this car with the highest Top Safety Pick award) and reliability - there are 89 breakdowns per hundred cars.
7. Opel Adam
The best representative of the class of subcompact cars presented in the rating. Small, economical (only 3.5 liters of fuel per 100 km), environmentally friendly, with a bright, memorable design, good finish and excellent handling. And at the same time it is quite reliable - 87 breakdowns per 100 cars.
6. Toyota Auris
The best model in the compact family car segment in this ranking. For all its external inexpressiveness, the car is quite reliable - among cars aged 2-3 years, on average 84 out of 100 had to seek technical assistance. Even fewer cars have got serious breakdowns - only 2.6%.
5. Skoda Fabia
The Skoda Fabia hatchback is the third generation of this model. Large, roomy (the most impressive trunk in the class) and safe (the car received the first place in passive safety in the hatchback class). The owners have a positive attitude to Skoda Fabia - 80 breakdowns per 100 cars.
4. Skoda Yeti
Winner of the title "Family Car of the Year", the fourth place in the competition "European Car of the Year" is popular with motorists - at the end of last year more than half a million compact crossovers Skoda Yeti rolled off the assembly line. 3. Opel Mokka
Four years have passed since the first appearance of the Opel Mokka at the Geneva Motor Show. In general, buyers are satisfied with the quality of the Opel Mokka. There are 67 breakdowns per 100 cars, which allows the worthy representative of the German automotive industry to take the third line in the ranking of the most reliable cars.
2. VW Tiguan
The second generation of the VW Tiguan crossover differs significantly from its predecessor - the car has become more solid, larger in size and more comfortable for both the driver and passengers. And the level of reliability is quite high - 58 breakdowns per 100 cars.
1.Kia sportage
The most reliable car (even in the secondary market) and the undoubted leader of the rating is the Kia Sportage SUV, which has only 45 breakdowns per 100 used cars. An impressive result! No wonder the Kia Sportage enjoys the well-deserved love of motorists. The latest version of the car is equipped with many technical innovations such as a traffic sign recognition system, parking assistance, a camera in the windshield (it analyzes the location of oncoming vehicles and automatically switches the light from high to low) and much more.
