Skytrax, which specializes in researching the quality of services of various airlines and airports, has released an annual rating of the best airlines in the world... When compiling it, the impressions of over 19 million travelers from 105 countries were taken into account. The survey, which covered more than 325 air transport companies, contained 49 parameters, ranging from the comfort of being in the cabin to the quality of service. Here are the top ten airlines in the world, according to Skytrax.

10. Garuda, Indonesia
In the recent past, this air carrier undertook a large-scale renewal of its aircraft fleet and significantly improved the quality of service. The pilots did not remain deprived, more comfortable seats were installed for them.

9. Hainan Airlines, China

Skytrax reviewers praised Hainan Airlines for its responsive service and comfort in its business class cabins. The company also earned the title of the best airline in China and was honored with the best service for airline personnel in China.
8. Etihad Airways, United Arab Emirates
Air carrier from Abu Dhabi, won awards in 2017 for World's Best First Class, Best First Class Seats and Best First Class Service. Some of the features of staying on board Etihad include the use of noise canceling headphones and dimmable lighting to keep the passenger well rested.
7. Lufthansa, Germany
In recent years, the German airline has had to significantly "shrink" in the budget. Fortunately, the service and overall quality of service were not affected. And for the best results, Skytrax recommends adding the newer A380 and 748-8 aircraft to the fleet.
Lufthansa took first places as the best European airline and excellent first class restaurant.
6. EVA Air, Taiwan
It was EVA Air that pioneered the creation of premium economy class on the Boeing 777. Skytrax awarded the Taiwanese airline the prize for the world's cleanest cabins and most comfortable business class.
5. Cathay Pacific Airways, Hong Kong
Although the Hong Kong-based airline lost one point from the 2016 ranking, it still maintains its place as one of the most respected air operators in the Pacific. With a large fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs at its disposal and offering high frequency, Cathay is one of the top Asian airlines. Skytrax reviewers are pleased with Cathay's comfortable seating, quality of service, and in-flight entertainment. However, there were also poor reviews due to congestion and erratic weather at the Cathay base in Hong Kong.
4. Emirates, Dubai
Over the past 30 years, Emirates has become one of the world's leading long-haul operators. The airline's entertainment system includes a huge selection of movies, music and games, on demand and in multiple languages. 3. All Nippon Airways, Japan
Skytrax awarded ANA employees the title of “Best Personnel in Asia,” which means the airline has demonstrated a high quality of service in the air and on the ground after welcoming passengers at the airport. While the Japanese are renowned for their politeness and respect for other people, ANA offers tremendous staff friendliness, a positive atmosphere at the airport, and pleasant flights with folding seats and USB ports even in Economy Class.

After falling to second place in 2016, the Qatari air carrier has managed to regain the title of "best airline in the world." The reviewers praised the very comfortable seats and the fun entertainment that brightens up long flights.
The airline offers more than 150 destinations around the world and is constantly expanding its fleet to include the latest generation of long-haul airliners, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350. Qatar Airways has also won Best Airline in the Middle East and Excellent Business Class awards.
