Unitrust Capital spoke about promising investment directions for 2019.
According to analysts at Unitrust Capital, in 2019, 204% more people became interested in investments than in 2018. This is confirmed by the statistics of users' Internet requests. At the same time, the volume of bank deposits increased by $ 25.7 billion, although deposit rates decreased by 2%. Such statistics show how great the demand is and how poorly people are guided in existing financial instruments.
Moscow, March 11, 2019. - Unitrust Capital specialists talked about where to invest in 2019 and conducted an educational program on investment literacy as part of the fight against stereotypes, which are present in abundance among novice investors and financiers. According to Unitrust Capital, a bad investor differs from a good one primarily in its thinking, and in order to better navigate the market situation, 3 popular myths need to be dispelled:
- Capital increase.
If a company offers income over 50% per annum, in 9 out of 10 cases it is a one-day company or a financial pyramid. - "Insurance cushion".
This phrase is used by 90% of investment brokers. Yes, they actually have some kind of insurance, but it can only protect the trader himself. Because he doesn't risk his money. - Risk-free investments.
Even banks cannot protect a deposit 100%. The only guarantee of fulfillment of obligations to investors is the authorized capital of the company, which is checked by the tax service.
Despite the abundance of proposals in this area, there are only five proven investment instruments in the world:
- Speculative deposits, where income depends on market volatility.
- Bank deposits offering fixed income.
- Investing in a business based on real deals.
- Creation of personal assets when a property is bought for rent.
- Bankruptcy bidding.
Each type has its own advantages, but you need to pay attention to the disadvantages. Trading on stock exchanges involves enormous risks, buying real estate requires large investments, and bank deposits are only suitable for preserving your capital. Therefore, the best option is to invest in large business players - the so-called "blue chips" - shares of the largest, most liquid and reliable companies with stable profitability indicators.
As for promising areas for investment for 2019, Unitrust Capital experts advise paying attention to bankruptcy trading. In this area, the usual market relations operate (buy cheaper - sell more expensive), while anyone can take part in the auction without the participation of intermediaries. Capital and basic financial savvy are enough to get you started successfully.
So, last year in Russia, 570 thousand entrepreneurs fell under the bankruptcy procedure, who, according to Federal Law No. 127-FZ, are forced to put their property up for open auction. Often, banks also put up for sale the collateralized property of their clients, for example, apartments, for which a mortgage loan was too heavy for the former owners. This type of investment is low-risk because, as a rule, liquid assets are put up for auction, the attractiveness of which is beyond doubt. The only drawback of such investments is access to trading, since banks usually sell the most attractive properties to a narrow circle of trusted persons.
