Sverdlovsk research group "Stalker" and the project "Our Ural" made a top list the most mysterious places of the Ural region... The rating was made up of 2 components: on the basis of the votes received by us over 3 months, and on the frequency of mentioning such places in the media. Of course, not so much the most anomalous places were shortlisted, but the most sensational ones, promoted in the media. The three "leaders" were very obvious from the very beginning. But the question of who will take places from the fourth to the 7th, intrigued to the last ... So, the results were as follows:
1. Arkaim
An ancient Aryan settlement in the steppes in the south of the Chelyabinsk region. Arkaim has a ring structure and is clearly oriented by the stars. It is not known where and why the people who lived here left. Every year Arkaim attracts tens of thousands of pilgrims: psychics, ufologists, esotericists, "contactees" and other extraordinary people. They consider Arkaim to be the spiritual center of the Russian Federation. And all in one voice assure about the uniqueness and strength of the local energy.
2. Dyatlov pass
On the slope of Mount Kholat Syakhyl (in the very north of the Sverdlovsk region) in the winter of 1959 a group of nine experienced tourists perished under mysterious circumstances. The detective who conducted the investigation concluded that "the cause of death of the tourists was a spontaneous force, which they were unable to overcome." However, what kind of "power" made the tourists to cut open the tent and run down the slope in light clothes to certain death from the frost ?! The mystery of their death to this day excites the minds of scientists. Until now, there is not a single hypothesis that would 100 percent explain all the ambiguities of this tragedy.
3. M-sky triangle
Became widely known all over the world since 1989. This is the 1st anomalous zone in Russia, which stirred up the whole people at that time. In those years, they often encountered the widest range of anomalous phenomena: from UFOs and plasmoids to Bigfoot. Until now, many people from all over the country strive to this non-standard place. However, he most of all admits that in our days anomalous phenomena here, if they did not come to naught, then became isolated.
4. Nevyansk leaning tower
Located in the "mountain nest" of breeders Demidov - Nevyansk. Similar to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, our tower is also inclined. However, in addition, the tower is surrounded by numerous historical secrets. Neither the exact date of construction nor the name of the architect is known. The purpose of the so-called "sound room" is also unclear. If you stand in one of its corners, you can clearly hear the slightest whisper from the other side of the room. It is authentically common knowledge that a network of secret underground passages existed around the tower. The myth is widely known that the Demidovs secretly melted silver in the underground under the tower I (the fact of secret melting of silver is documented). Subsequently, this room was allegedly flooded together with the workers in order to "cover up their tracks."
5. Places of Bazhov's tales
Well described in the tales of the Soviet writer Pavel Bazhov. Located in the vicinity of Polevskoy and Sysert. These places are very popular among tourists: first of all, they are Azov Mountain, Dumnaya Gora, Markov Kamen and so on.According to legends, a cave with treasures is hidden on the Azov-misfortune. 6. Taganay
National park and mountain range in the Chelyabinsk region near the city of Zlatoust. In previous centuries, these places were chosen by the Old Believers. Here they lived in their sketes, right there and performed their rituals. From time to time, UFOs, energy balls, ball lightning, and light columns of unknown nature are seen here. They even talk about Bigfoot and a certain Kialim grandmother. Most of the phenomena are explained by the peculiarities of electromagnetic radiation from numerous tectonic faults.
7. Ural dolmens
This is perhaps the youngest Ural mystery from the ones listed above. The problem of dolmens in the Urals began to be widely discussed only a few years ago. Dolmens are well known to the north of Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma, and in the South Urals. It is still not clear at what time our ancestors built them and for what purposes.
