Best Employers 2018, Forbes Ranking

Holding Alphabet Inc. ranked # 1 on Forbes' 2018 Best Employers List. This list takes into account factors such as company image, working conditions and diversity of work, and helps employers to find out how highly employees value them.

The ranking of the best employers in the world was determined by analyzing 430,000 recommendations from employees of various large companies in 60 countries. They were asked:

• tell about your employer;
• communicate how likely they are to recommend their company to a friend or relative;
• and also point out other companies worthy of admiration.

As a result, Forbes experts drew up an impressive document, which included 500 best of the best employers.

Why Alphabet Inc is the best employer in the world

Parent company Google topped the Forbes list as the only organization with excellent marks after recently announcing that 25.5% of its leadership team are women. This figure is above average compared to competitors.

In addition, Alphabet Inc. many employees from national minorities work. The total number of employees exceeded 80 thousand people.

Who else made it to the top five best employers

In second place is Microsoft, which employs 124 thousand people. And the top three is closed by the Cupertin corporation Apple, which recently released the iPhone XS with an enlarged display and manual adjustment of the bokeh effect.

The Walt Disney Company, the fourth-best employer, recently released the Disney Aspire. Russian companies (albeit in small numbers) also made it into the Forbes Dream employer rating. These included:

1. the largest stock exchange holding in the country - the Moscow Exchange (117th place);

3. and the United Aircraft Corporation (at the 278th position).

Some of the companies listed on Forbes are the ones you may not have heard of, despite being global conglomerates in their field. One such company is the biotech firm Celgene, which was ranked ninth on the Forbes list. She works to discover, develop and commercialize cancer treatments. Celgene is also developing a variety of treatments for inflammatory diseases using gene and protein modification.
