Analytical agency "Turstat" published rating of the best beaches in Russia... The beaches were rated according to the following categories: the purity of the water, the level of comfort of vacationers (the availability of amenities such as a toilet, shower, sun loungers), safety (lifeguard service) and the ability to walk into the city.
Unfortunately, not a single Russian beach was included in the list the best beaches in the world according to National Geographic.
10. Amber (Kaliningrad region)
The first holder of the "blue flag" in Russia - this award is given only to beaches that meet the highest quality standards. To make Yantarny one of the cleanest beaches in Russia, the administration had to work hard - umbrellas, toilets with sewerage, running water and lighting, showers, and comfortable cabanas appeared on the territory. A special deck was built for the disabled, thanks to which they can easily get to the water.
9. Ambassadorial litter (Baikal)
Shallow bay, fenced off from the cleanest lake Russian sand spit. The water here is calm and in summer it warms up to twenty degrees Celsius. The bottom of the bay is overgrown with algae, which is home to many fish, including the famous ambassadorial omul. There are many sights in the vicinity of Posolskoye - from the Baikal reserve to the shaman temple.
8. Shamorovsky (Azure Bay, Vladivostok)
Local residents are rather skeptical about Shamorovsky beach being in the top 10 best beaches in Russia - back in June, vacationers were "pleased" by the sight of overflowing garbage containers, a dense layer of rotting seaweed on the sand and garbage bags floating in the waters. However, the administration installed a new rescue tower and contracted workers to clean the beach.
7. Long Spit (Yeisk District, Krasnodar Territory)
A natural monument of the Krasnodar Territory, something like a huge wedge jutting into the Sea of Azov. The wedge is bordered by coquina beaches, and the body of the wedge contains many freshwater lakes teeming with fish.
6. Curonian Spit (Lesnoy, Kaliningrad region)
A unique nature reserve of its kind. Those who wish can plunge into either the salty waters of the Baltic Sea or the fresh water of the Curonian Lagoon. The beach near the village of Lesnoy is one of the most beautiful - wide, clean, there are sun loungers for rent, and there is a promenade with numerous cafes nearby.

Imeretian artificial origin, one of the best beaches resorts on the Russian Black Sea coast... The beach is landscaped - there are sun loungers, umbrellas, a shower, a toilet, a rescue station with doctors. Nearby there are terraces with cafes, dance floors and sports facilities.
4. Sudzhuk Spit (Tsemesskaya Bay, Novorossiysk)
The bay, closed from all sides, is famous for its clean and warm water in the summer. The beach is well equipped, there are showers, changing rooms, toilets. At the rental points you can get umbrellas, sun loungers and more.No cars are allowed to enter the beach, but there is a parking lot nearby.
3. Dzhemetsky (Anapa)
It is considered one of the cleanest beaches of the Black Sea in Russia. It has a gentle, even descent, the depth is gained gradually, without cliffs and holes, and it is pleasant to walk on the white sandy bottom. The water warms up well, but due to the small current and wind it does not stagnate. Even garbage - the scourge of the beaches of the Black Sea coast - bypasses the beach in Dzhemete, as it drifts to the base of the bay.
2. Gold (Feodosia, Crimea)
A huge sandy strip 15 km long and about 100 m wide is one of the best beaches in Russia, a favorite vacation spot for locals and tourists.
