It seems that every smartphone maker is fighting for a truly bezel-less design, and the Honor Magic 2, made in a slider form factor, provides a great solution to get rid of the notch (aka "monobrow").
However, the advantages of the model do not end there. Like the recently launched Honor View 20, the Magic 2 is powered by the latest Kirin 980 chipset, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Another distinctive feature of the phone is six cameras, three of which are located on the back and three on the front.
- The Honor Magic 2 comes with a 24MP f / 1.8 monochrome camera, a 16MP f / 1.8 standard lens and a 16MP f / 2.2 (17mm) ultra-wide camera on the back.

It may not be the best Honor smartphone of 2019, but it has a serious claim to win. At just 7.8mm thin, the Honor 8X makes a lasting first impression. It has 15 layers of glass on its back to add depth to color, and the huge screen has a smart mode to automatically adjust the resolution to maximize battery life.
The difference between the Honor 8X and some of the other devices recently released by Honor is in the hardware. While the Honor 10 and Honor Play are equipped with a Kirin 970 processor on a 10nm platform, the Honor 8X has a Kirin 710 on a 12nm platform.
What does this mean for users? If without long ranting: Honor 8X uses an outdated processor, not as powerful or efficient as compared to the first and second places in the Honor smartphone rating. However, if you are not going to load your smartphone with fresh games that are demanding on the hardware, then there will be no problems with its performance.
An interesting feature of the smartphone is GPU Turbo. This hardware and software evens out average fps for consistent frame rates and smooth gaming performance. However, GPU Turbo is currently not compatible with many games, so Honor will have to work on improving it.

Among the best Honor smartphones of 2019, and among the newest smartphones in general, the View 20 stands out. This is one of the few models with a perforated display. Instead of "bangs" or any other solution that eats up part of the screen, the manufacturer has left only a small neat hole in the upper left of the display. There is a 25 MP selfie camera.
The main camera, as it should be, is located at the back, on the "back" of the device. But what sets it apart from the others is the resolution (48 MP), the presence of a 3D depth sensor from Sony and the AI Ultra Clarity mode, which combines several exposures into one in just a few seconds. The result is a crisp, high-resolution image.
