How are things going with the attractiveness of Russia for pensioners?
Until the pension reform burst out, Russia is quite an attractive country for the elderly in terms of the ratio of retirement time to life expectancy. With one clarification: this applies to women who now retire at 55 and live, on average, 77.2 years. If the law on raising the retirement age is adopted, our country will collapse from 20th line to 77th position.
The situation with male pensioners is even worse. They now retire at 60 and live on average to 66.4 years. This is the 104th line of the rating. If the retirement experience has to work up to 65 years, then the country will be on the 133rd place on the list. Little consolation is the fact that in the poorest country in the world - The Central African Republic and in Lesotho, pensioners have to work up to 60 and 70 years, respectively.
