And the average wealth of these people is 4.1 billion dollars, which is equivalent to or even exceeds the GDP of some countries in the world. And collectively, all the owners of billions of dollars in the world are worth $ 9.1 trillion, while in 2017 this figure was $ 7.7 trillion.
According to the Forbes list, 67% (1,490) of billionaires are so-called "self-made man". That is, they did not inherit wealth, but earned it by their own labor.
