This is evidenced by recent research by RIA Novosti, obtained by the company in the 1st half of 2018. Based on this data, our ranking of the lowest and highest salaries in Russian cities.
In their research, to determine the rating, RIA Novosti used the ratio of the average wage and the cost of consumption. One such minimum set averages 22.8 thousand rubles. This amount of money, according to experts, is needed to live in our country.
Top 5 Russian cities with the highest salaries
5. Moscow and the region - 67,700 rubles.
Oddly enough, our capital Moscow and its region occupy the last place in our rating. The average resident of this city receives 67.7 thousand rubles, which is almost 7 times higher than the subsistence minimum established by the state, and 2.97 times more than the minimum set. Its value is 11 160 rubles. And this is only the 5th place in the ranking! Moscow is also among the best cities in Russia in terms of living standards, second only to Tyumen.
4. Khanty-Mansiysk - 70,500 rubles.
The regional city of the northern part of the country, Khanty-Mansiysk, took the 4th line in our rating. Khanty residents, on average, earn 3.09 times the standard consumer wage. This means that in kind this number is 70.5 thousand rubles.
3. Surgut - 73,000 rubles.
The three leaders include the city of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Surgut. The first and honorable place is given to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - a city in the Far East of the Russian Federation with a small population of only 200,000 people. 4. Makhachkala - 34,000 rubles.
Makhachkala is not far from Nalchik and took 4th place in the ranking of the lowest salaries.
